Floating is the latest video and sound recording for an original song I wrote many years ago that combines my love of music, nature, and photography. This version is dedicated in loving memory to my Mother, Dale Ledbetter.

An older version of this song was used as part of the soundtrack for the 2008 documentary film by Alyse Shorland, Against the Tide about the plight of Chesapeake Bay Watermen.

The music was recorded in my studio and the most of the pictures were taken using an iPhone at different locations around Alabama and Florida, including the Black Warrior River, Cahaba River Wildlife Refuge, Wilson Lake, Lake Guntersville, Lake Logan Martin, Bibb County Glades, Grayton Beach, and Indian Pass.

Thanks to my sister, Melinda Ledbetter for her incredible sunrise and sunset pictures of Indian Pass Florida at the end of the video.
